Gorgeous Apartment in Grey | Scandinavian style

Before going fully into Spring Mode, I want to share this beautifully styled apartment for sale on Stadshem. A typical scandinavian interior in tones of grey (and still quite bright) to put end another grey Winter.

I love the little concrete table in the living room.
And the kitchen is just perfect - fresh and yet cosy with the wooden utensils on display - I wouldn't change a thing!

Calendar on the wall

As promised, I'm sharing today a few pictures of my 2015 Printable Calendar on my gallery wall.

You may recognize the Minimal Vases from a previous post on this blog. They were a Christmas present from my mother in law, and I love them!

Printable Calendar for 2015 | Happy New Year

Happy New Year everyone!

I have prepared for you a new home printable calendar for 2015. This year I chose to make a less minimalistic calendar because I'm going to need to keep track of all the appointments I'll have (and already do) related to the baby that is on his/her way. I divided the months into 4 separate posters that can be arranged and displayed in different ways on your wall. And I also associated to each month a photograph taken by me during 2014. I already printed my version and put it on the wall, and as soon as I have enough day light here (sigh...Scandinavian winters!) I'll share it with you.

I Hope your year has started in the best possible way and that it continues to be great and with happy little notes every single month.

For Rest | want!

I'm in love with the 'For Rest' print from One Must Dash.
It's a real rest for my eyes... and I just feel like getting lost in the fog in the middle of those trees.
This would definitely have a place on my wall.

&Tradition | &Autumn

I really love these photos from &Tradition.

The photos were taken on the new &Tradition showroom designed by Norm Architects, and feature their new releases for the Autumn of 2014- like the beautiful Marble Lights.

A gorgeous atmosphere of Nordic simplicity and minimalism.

Dot Hanger | design crush

A quick design crush post, while I try to find my bearings again.
(organizing photos, reading and replying to 3 weeks worth of e-mails, getting up to date with all the blogs I follow, preparing new posts, planing some tweaks on my blog, preparing my home and wardrobe for Autumn... wait, did I really just had a vacation?)

A Grey Feeling | Nornäs by IKEA

The Summer has been rough on me this year (yes we're actually having a heat wave in Denmark!). So I wanted to share with you  these photos styled for IKEA's new bench - Nornäs.

I'm loving the range of grey tones and the whole fresh Autumn mood.

Tine K's Summer cottage | scandinavian style

About two years ago I shared with you some beautiful photos of Tine Kjeldsen's home (from the danish company Tine K Home), and today I want to show you some images of her Summer cottage.

A typical Scandinavian summer house with a fresh and romantic style, white, grey and neutral tones prevailing, and a mixture of rustic and design pieces.

Looks cozy (hyggeligt) doesn't it?

Indoors garden in an old carpentry

This home in Sweden is a 300 m2 old carpentry that was renovated and is now for sale here.
Simplicity, bright spaces, black and white details, and green plants, are quite common when we are talking about interiors styling in Scandinavia.
But this home takes the idea of an indoors garden to a whole new level.

There are plants everywhere!
I find it fascinating because I really love home plants but, unfortunately, I can't keep them alive for long enough to make it worth having them (except for the occasional bouquet).
Also, notice how the same tones can be found inside the home and outside in the garden.

Norwegian home in tones of grey

This home in Norway belongs to the owners of the fashion an interior webshop Bolina.

Grey tones and a quiet atmosphere are a constant presence in all rooms, but they are complemented with some colourful and whimsical details.
(I just love the wall gallery in the first photo!)
It's interesting to notice the contrast of simple and contemporary design pieces and home-made art or vintage findings. And it's also very beautiful the use of wood, concrete and marble in all those different ways.

If you want to see more go here.
